Sola Salons Roseville is a suite rental business rather than a salon with its own staff. Each private suite is rented by an independent professional who runs their own business inside it. The building houses 26 private studios, and the site says the community includes more than 20,000 independent business owners across its franchise network. Each Sola Salon Studios location is independently owned and operated.
The space is set up as rentable suites for self-employed professionals working in hair, barbering, skin care, nails, massage, lashes and brows, makeup, tattoo, and spa services. Every suite includes on-site laundry, soundproofed walls, ventilation, full-spectrum lighting, a shampoo bowl, a styling chair, and instant hot water. Each tenant is given a key and a personal lock for the suite's private glass door, and the building is staffed with security around the clock.
Tenants pay one weekly fee that covers all utilities and Wi-Fi. They set their own work hours within the access hours for the location, decide their own service and product prices, and keep all profits from both services and product sales. They choose which brands and products they carry and keep exclusive use of their own supplies and equipment. Suites can be decorated with a tenant's own artwork, music, furniture and decor.
The salon says its suites cost about the same as renting a chair or booth in a traditional salon.
Sola Salons gives independent professionals a private, self-run space rather than a shared chair, with the tenant in control of hours, pricing, products and décor.
