Sola Salons

Sola Salons Powell rents private salon and spa suites that come fully furnished and ready to move into. Each suite is a self-contained studio, so an independent professional can open their own business there without building out a space first.

The suites suit a wide mix of trades: hairstylists, estheticians, medical estheticians, permanent makeup artists, lash technicians, barbers, nail technicians and massage therapists. The business describes its location as central and easy to reach.

Renters get more than a room. Sola provides a start-up manual that covers obtaining a salon license and other licenses and permits, studio setup, credit card processing, and retail support with distributor contacts. Renters also have access to liability insurance, and disability insurance is available in some areas.

Independent renters can take advantage of retail discounts, special offers for online scheduling, continuing education programs and industry events. The Powell location also hosts community gatherings for its renters, such as cocktail parties and family picnics.

Each Sola location is independently owned and operated, and each salon professional or business in a suite runs their own operation, so Sola is not responsible for the work or staff of those renters. The company describes itself as the largest community of independent salon studio owners.

Sola sets up the space and support, and each renter runs their own business independently.

Move-in ready private studios in a community setting with periodic gatherings for renters.
