Sola Salons

Sola Salons Oro Valley is a franchise location of Sola Salon Studios, and each location in the network is independently owned and operated. The company itself says it is not responsible for the day-to-day operations, employment or personnel matters of franchise owners or the independent professionals who rent from them.

The business is built around private studios rather than a shared floor. Each studio has a sliding, locking door for privacy, high-end cabinetry, sinks and shampoo bowls, ergonomic chairs and modern lighting, and the studios are ready to move into. Prospective renters can arrange a confidential tour of the studios by booking one.

For professionals starting out on their own, the location offers a start-up manual with checklists, forms and tips for obtaining a salon license and other permits. Start-up support also covers setting up the studio, including insurance, equipment, paint, credit card processing, retail support and distributor contacts. Renters have access to liability insurance and disability insurance, which is available in certain areas.

Renters also get discounts on retail products and special offers for online scheduling, along with continuing education programs and industry events. The company hosts community gatherings for renters, such as cocktail parties and family picnics. The company describes its renter community as the largest community of independent studio owners.

The studios are finished with high-end cabinetry, stylish sinks and shampoo bowls, and modern lighting.
