About

Sola Salons rents private salon suites to independent beauty and wellness professionals rather than employing them. Each location is an independently owned and operated franchise. The company says it has more than 20,000 independent business owners in its community and over 750 locations nationwide.

Suites come fully furnished and ready to move into, with full-spectrum lighting, a shampoo bowl and a styling chair. Each suite has its own glass door with an individual lock and key, and the location has 24/7 security. Renters pay one weekly fee that covers utilities and Wi-Fi. Suite access hours vary by location.

Renters can sell retail products of their own choosing and keep the full profit. The company provides a start-up manual that covers a setup checklist, licensing forms, studio setup details, credit card processing tips, and retail support with distributor contacts.

Independent studio owners can access liability and disability insurance where it is available, along with retail discounts, online scheduling offers, continuing education programs and industry events. The company also hosts social gatherings for suite renters, such as cocktail parties and family picnics.

Built around giving independent professionals their own private space and the freedom to run their own business.
