The model is built around space rather than a single team. Sola leases suites to independent salon professionals and salon businesses, and the professionals who rent them operate their own businesses from those rooms. Each Sola location is independently owned and operated, and so is each professional or business working at a location.
Sola also offers franchising opportunities. The company states that it is not responsible for the operations, employment and personnel matters of franchise owners or of the independent professionals and businesses in its suites.
Each location and each professional working in it operates as an independent business, with Sola providing the leased suite space.
