Each suite comes with a styling chair and a shampoo bowl, and renters can decorate and furnish the space to suit their work, including artwork, music, furniture and decor. Each suite has a glass door with its own lock and key, and renters have 24/7 access, although access hours vary by location.
Renters pay one weekly fee that covers utilities and Wi-Fi, with no additional fees, and they set their own service and product prices and keep the profits. The company says a suite costs about the same as renting a chair or booth in a traditional salon. The company also says it has more than 20,000 independent business owners in its community.
