Sola Salons Davie rents individual studios to beauty professionals who run their own businesses rather than working as employees of a salon. The location has 28 studios in several sizes, and renters can use them for hair, head spa services, skin care, injectables, or brow and lash work.

Each studio includes a styling chair, a shampoo bowl, full-spectrum lighting, sound-insulated walls and ventilation. Renters get a glass door with an individual lock and key. The building offers 24/7 access, a self-locking front entrance, on-site and lighted parking, 24/7 security, janitorial service, bathroom facilities, on-site laundry and instant hot water. A spacious breakroom is available to renters.

Renters pay one weekly fee that covers all utilities and Wi-Fi. They set their own schedules within access hours, which vary by location. They can sell retail products of their choice and keep 100% of the profits. Liability insurance is available to renters, and disability insurance is offered in certain areas.

New renters receive a start-up manual with checklists, forms and tips for obtaining a salon license and other permits, studio setup details, and credit card processing guidance. Ongoing support includes retail help, distributor contacts, retail discounts, offers for online scheduling and continuing education programs. Renter events such as cocktail parties and family picnics are also held.

The location is in the Tower Shops plaza near Interstate 595 and University Drive, with DSW, Michaels and Tap 42 nearby. Sola Salons operates four locations in Broward County: Coral Springs, Davie, Fort Lauderdale-Flagler Village and Pompano. According to the company, it has more than 750 locations across the U.S. and Canada and a community of more than 20,000 independent beauty and wellness business owners. Each location is independently owned and operated, and so is each professional or business within it.

Professionals work as independent renters in their own studios, with one weekly fee covering utilities and Wi-Fi and support for setup and retail.
