Sola Salons Rocklin

Sola Salons rents studio suites to independent beauty professionals. Each renter gets a private suite and runs their own business from it, so the setup suits people who want their own space rather than a chair in a shared salon floor. The company describes its mission as supporting independent professionals in growing their careers.

The Elk Grove location is at 9117 East Stockton Blvd., Suite 100, and is close to the South Sacramento Freeway, near Laguna Blvd. The area is near Ross, Bath & Body Works and The Laguna Gateway Mall.

Renters receive a start-up manual with forms, tips and information for setting up a business. Support also covers salon and other license and permit forms, credit card processing tips, and retail support that includes distributor contacts. Renters can take part in continuing education programs and get discounts on retail products.

Renters have access to liability insurance and disability insurance, which is offered in certain areas only. The business also hosts community events for renters, such as cocktail parties and family picnics. The company says it has the largest community of independent studio owners.

Each location is an independently owned and operated franchise. Sola Salons states that it is not responsible for the operations, employment or personnel matters of franchise owners or independent salon professionals.

The stated mission is to help independent beauty professionals grow their careers, with business setup materials, insurance access and continuing education offered to renters.
