Sola Salons

Each suite is a furnished studio that an independent professional rents on a weekly basis, with one fee that covers utilities and Wi-Fi.

Suites come in several studio sizes, and each has its own key and a glass door with an individual lock. Tenants set their own work hours, though access hours vary by location. Tenants also set their own service and product prices, choose which products they sell, and keep the profits from both.

Amenities include 24/7 security, bathroom facilities, full-spectrum lighting, on-site laundry, a shampoo bowl, a breakroom and a styling chair. Shared community spaces include a kitchen and laundry. The company describes its wider community as more than 20,000 independent business owners.

Prospective renters can tour the location to see which studios are available and ask about financing, startup costs and the move-in process. Each Sola Salon Studios franchise is independently owned and operated, so details can differ between locations.

The model gives independent professionals a furnished space and full control over their own schedule, pricing and product sales.
