Sola Salons leases private salon suites to independent professionals rather than employing stylists. The Brandon location, at the southeast corner of Lumsden Road and Providence Road in Brandon Centre South Shopping Center, offers suites to a wide range of trades, including barbers, brow techs, estheticians, hair extension specialists, hairstylists, laser hair removers, lash techs, makeup artists, massage therapists, medical spa professionals, nail techs, permanent makeup artists, tattoo artists and waxers.

Each suite is a private room with its own lock and key, and the tenant holds the only key. Suites come with full-spectrum lighting, a styling chair, sound-insulated walls, utilities and on-site laundry, plus a shared breakroom. Tenants can furnish and decorate their suite with their own artwork, music, furniture and decor.

Tenants pay one weekly fee that covers all utilities and Wi-Fi. The site says there are no additional fees. Tenants set their own service and product prices, choose the brands they sell, and keep all of the profit from both.

The site says Sola has been working with independent professionals for more than 20 years and has more than 20,000 independent business owners across 750+ locations in the U.S. and Canada. Each Sola Salon Studios location is independently owned and operated. The site notes the Brandon location is a convenient base for professionals and clients from Brandon, Bloomingdale, Fish Hawk, Riverview and Valrico. Access hours vary by location.
