Sola Salons

Sola Salons rents out salon suites, and each suite is leased to a beauty professional who runs it as a private boutique salon. Sola Salon Studios locations are franchises, and each one has its own owner who manages it separately from the others. The suites are available to hair stylists, estheticians, eyebrow artists, nail technicians and other cosmetology professionals.

Suites come in Standard, Large and Doubles sizes. Each one includes full-spectrum lighting, a shampoo bowl and a styling chair, and has a private glass door with an individual lock and key. Security is provided around the clock, and access hours vary by location.

Tenants pay one weekly fee that covers utilities and Wi-Fi. They set their own service and product prices, keep all of their service profits, and may choose which products to sell while keeping 100% of the product profits.

The company says it has a community of more than 20,000 independent business owners and 21,000+ independent beauty and wellness professionals across more than 750 locations in the U.S. and Canada, and that it has been working with professionals for over 20 years. Sola lists nine locations in Alabama: three in Hoover, plus Birmingham, Homewood, Spanish Fort, Huntsville, Madison and Mobile, with five in the Birmingham area. The Centre at Riverchase studio sits in a shopping center near I-459 and Montgomery Highway, close to The Galleria.

Each suite tenant works as an independent business owner, while the studio provides the space, utilities and security.
