Sola Salons Venice

Sola Salons is a suite-leasing business rather than a salon with its own staff. Each location rents private suites to independent professionals who run their own businesses inside the space. The company says it has worked with professionals for more than 20 years and has more than 750 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Each Sola Salon Studios franchise location is independently owned and operated.

The Sarasota Pavilion location sits at South Tamiami Trail and Stickney Point Road, with additional access from Clark Road and Gulf Gate Drive. The Venice location is on Venice Bypass.

Each suite has a private glass door with its own lock and key, and the tenant sets their own work hours. Suites come with full-spectrum lighting, a styling chair, a breakroom, sound-insulated walls, on-site laundry, a shampoo bowl, utilities, and Wi-Fi. Janitorial service and 24/7 security are included. Rent is one weekly fee that covers utilities and Wi-Fi.

Tenants set their own prices for services and products, choose which brands they carry, and keep all of their profits. The company says a suite can cost about the same as renting a chair or booth in a traditional salon and describes its fees as having no surprises.
