Sola Salons San Jose - Winchester

Sola Salons works as a suite rental business rather than a traditional salon. Each location rents private, fully furnished suites, and the professionals and businesses who rent them run their own operations. Each franchise location is independently owned and operated.

The suites are move-in ready and set up for a range of services. Renters can include hairstylists, estheticians, medical estheticians, permanent makeup artists, lash techs, barbers, nail techs and massage therapists. The San Jose Rose Garden location is at 1700 Park Ave. The Winchester location is at 919 S Winchester Blvd., on the ground floor of a building the site describes as upscale.

Renters receive liability insurance, and disability insurance is available in certain areas. They also get discounts on retail products, special offers for online scheduling and access to continuing education programs. A start-up manual with forms, tips and setup information is available for people launching a salon business, and business support includes credit card processing tips and contacts with retail distributors.

The business hosts community events for renters, such as cocktail parties, family picnics and other gatherings. The business describes its San Jose suites as the premier private salon and spa suite rental in the area.

The model is landlord-style: renters run their own independent businesses in furnished suites, and the franchise supplies the space, insurance and setup support.
