Sola Salons is a studio rental business. It provides private suites for independent beauty professionals rather than running a single salon with shared staff. Each location is independently owned and operated, and the company says its community includes more than 20,000 independent business owners.

Each suite is a self-contained studio with full-spectrum lighting, a shampoo bowl and a styling chair. Every suite has its own glass door with an individual lock and key, and the buildings have 24/7 security. Tenants can decorate the space with their own artwork, music, furniture and decor.

Tenants pay one weekly fee that covers utilities and Wi-Fi. They set their own service and product prices and keep the profits.
