Sola Salons Creighton Crossing

Sola Salons rents studio suites to independent professionals rather than employing stylists or running services itself. The company says its community includes more than 20,000 independent business owners. Each Sola Salon Studios franchise location is independently owned and operated, and each salon professional or salon business inside a location is independently owned and operated as well, so the company does not take responsibility for their operations or staff.

Each studio is a private suite with its own individual lock and key behind a glass door. Salon suites include full-spectrum lighting, a shampoo bowl and a styling chair, and the studios have 24/7 security. Renters can decorate and furnish their suite as they like.

Renters pay one weekly fee that covers all utilities and Wi-Fi. They set their own service and product prices, keep all of their profits, and may sell products of their own choosing while keeping all profits from those sales. They also set their own work hours, though access hours vary by location.

The Ashburn location at Riverside Commons Plaza sits off Leesburg Pike near Riverside Parkway and Ashburn Village Boulevard, across from One Loudoun, with Lidl, CosmoProf and Fort Evans Plaza nearby. Other nearby Sola locations include Leesburg, Loudoun Station, Reston, Chantilly and Tysons Corner. The business is a fit for those looking for a studio of their own, and the site offers a lease-a-suite inquiry form for prospective renters.

Sola Salons provides the space and shared essentials, and each independent professional runs their own business, sets their own prices and hours, and keeps what they earn.

Each studio is a private, lockable suite behind a glass door that renters can decorate and furnish.
