Sola Salon Studios

Sola Salon Studios works with beauty and wellness professionals who want to become independent business owners. Rather than working as a renter inside someone else's salon, each professional leases a private suite and runs it as their own business. The Wayne location is at 1607 Route 23 South in Passaic County.

Each suite comes fully equipped. Amenities include full-spectrum lighting, 24/7 security, utilities, a shampoo bowl, a styling chair, on-site laundry, a breakroom, bathroom facilities and instant hot water. Every suite has its own lock and key behind a glass door. Suite owners decide on the artwork, music, furniture and decor, so the space can reflect the individual professional. Access is available around the clock, though hours vary by location.

Suite owners pay one weekly fee that covers all utilities and Wi-Fi. The company says leasing a suite can cost about the same as renting a chair or booth in a traditional salon. Owners set their own service and product prices, choose the brands and products they sell, and keep all the profits from both.

The company says it has worked with professionals for more than 20 years. Each Sola Salon Studios franchise location is independently owned and operated, and the company states that it is not responsible for franchise owners' operations, employment or personnel matters.

Partners with beauty and wellness professionals so they can operate their own private salon suite business rather than renting a chair in a traditional salon.

Each suite sits behind its own glass door and lock, and the owner chooses the artwork, music, furniture and decor.
