Studios are built for tenants who run their own businesses. Each suite has a signature glass door with its own lock and key, and full-spectrum lighting, 24/7 security, utilities and a shampoo bowl and styling chair are included. Suite access is available around the clock, though hours vary by location. Tenants pay one weekly fee that covers all utilities and Wi-Fi.
Tenants set their own service and product prices and keep everything they earn. They can also choose the brands and products they sell and keep all profit from those sales. The business says it has more than 20,000 independent business owners in its community, and that leasing a personal salon suite can cost about the same as renting a chair or booth. Each Sola Salon Studios franchise location is independently owned and operated.
