SOL Studio & Academy Owasso

The studio, located at 13720 E 86th St N in Owasso, provides lash services, permanent makeup and sunless tanning. Lash Membership centers on a regular fill schedule meant to keep lashes looking full. Spray Tan Membership gives members up to four spray tans per membership period, plus one free upgrade. Walk-ins are accepted when an artist is available.

Permanent makeup work at the studio covers brows, eyeliner and color correction. The academy, at 10310 N 138th East Avenue in Owasso, offers a 300-clock-hour medical micropigmentation program made up of 150 hours of theory and bookwork and 150 hours of practical and clinical education. Students complete 18 live-model procedures under instructor supervision.

Classroom sessions address anatomy, healing, sanitation, aseptic technique, pigment science, color theory, consultation, documentation and professional standards. Hands-on training covers design, machine control, practice exercises and supervised work on live models. The curriculum also includes microblading, nano brows, lip blushing, and upper and lower permanent eyeliner, plus screening, informed consent, photography, aftercare communication, ethics, recordkeeping, portfolio preparation and Oklahoma requirements.

Classes can be scheduled around the needs of working adults, and sizes are kept small so instruction stays focused. Applicants must be at least 21 and have a high-school diploma or equivalent. They need a valid driver's license or government-issued ID, a copy of a birth certificate, and must meet Oklahoma's criminal-history eligibility rules. Applicants also complete the academy's application and enrollment paperwork. Finishing the program does not automatically grant an Oklahoma license; graduates must separately satisfy the state's current application, examination, background-check and practice-oversight requirements.
