Sol Shine Skin Studio

Sol Shine Skin Studio was created by its owner and esthetician as a private, one-on-one studio in New Lenox. The studio describes its experience as boutique, with each visit personalized to the guest's skin needs and goals.

New guests begin with the New Guest Experience, which is required for first-time clients. It starts with a digital skin scan and consultation and continues with a customized 60-minute facial. Existing menu facials scale in length and depth: the Sol 60 is 60 minutes with customized exfoliation, massage and one modality, the Sol 75 runs 75 minutes with up to two targeted modalities, and the Sol 90 runs 90 minutes with advanced exfoliation, extensive massage, multi-layer masking, an optional dermaplaning add-on and customized modalities.

Beyond classic facials, the menu includes Korean-inspired treatments built on deep hydration and brightening serums, and a Clear & Calm facial designed for acne-prone or rosacea-prone skin that also reduces redness. Several treatments are offered as non-invasive alternatives: Glow-Tox uses topical neurotoxins with microcurrent without injections, Contour Restore takes a non-injectable approach to stimulating collagen, and Sculpt & Lift combines facial sculpting massage, Gua Sha and microcurrent. The Stem Cell Renewal Facial, described as a regenerative therapy, combines human bone marrow stem cells with microchanneling, and oxygen therapy is available as an add-on to it for breakout-prone skin.

Booking terms: cancellations need at least 24 hours notice, and late cancellations carry a $50 fee. No-shows are charged the full scheduled service fee. After three or more consecutive cancellations or reschedule requests, clients must book with a non-refundable $50 deposit, which is forfeited on further changes. Clients have a 5-minute grace period for late arrival. Children and pets, other than service animals, are not permitted during appointments. Product purchases are final and non-returnable. Gift cards are sold as eGift cards in $75, $100, $150 or $200 amounts or a custom amount, through Square.
