New clients can begin with a complimentary consultation to talk through their goals, assess their hair and skin type, and learn how the laser works. Each client is assessed individually before treatment, and the settings are chosen for their skin, hair and the area being treated. Clients arrive freshly shaved, and treated hairs commonly begin to shed over the following couple of weeks.

Hair grows in cycles, so treatment happens as a series. Most clients begin with about 6 to 10 sessions, though some need more depending on hair density, area, hormones, hair cycle and skin. Body areas are commonly scheduled about every 6 weeks and facial areas about every 4 weeks, and a technician can adjust the timing. A package of six sessions is priced 20% below the per-session price, and pricing and promotions may vary by location.

Laser hair removal relies on pigment in the hair, so gray or white hair generally does not respond well. Waxing and tweezing between sessions are not allowed, and shaving is the preferred method in between. Clients should not come in sunburned or after a spray tan, and the laser is not used directly over tattoos.

Each client is assessed individually, and settings are chosen for skin, hair and the treatment area. The business works with laser alone and keeps investing in its technology.
