Soft Strands

Soft Strands is located in Downtown Miami and is open Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Clients can book online through the salon's booking page or call to schedule and ask questions.

The Basic and Signature packages cover a shampoo, conditioning, steam treatment, blow dry, braid down, installation and a style of choice, with wand curls and crimps excluded. Both packages include up to four bundles installed at no upcharge.

The Ultimate Luxury Package is the salon's signature service. The hair is provided at the appointment, the booking is made under a chosen hair type, and three bundles are included. Extra bundles beyond those three cost an additional fee. The salon recommends three bundles for a full install, or four for extra fullness or longer lengths.

The salon sells several bundle lines, including Iced Balayage, Ash Balayage and Honey Blonde blends from $145, Russian Blonde from $150, Raw Indian and Raw Cambodian from $140, and Virgin bundles from $105 per bundle. Textures and lengths vary by line, from straight and body wave to pineapple curl. Raw bundles can differ in color, texture and wave pattern, which the salon says are not defects. Clients bringing their own hair must use good-quality hair, and synthetic hair and dark lace are not accepted.

A non-refundable deposit is collected at booking. Clients can pay by cash, card, Zelle or Apple Pay. No extra guests are allowed at appointments, and appointment times are estimates that depend on hair type and the desired style. Appointments outside business hours cost $100 extra.

The salon says it aims to give every client a luxury experience. It also says its raw bundles are ethically sourced directly from their origin.
