Society Studios is a Winter Park salon built around sustainable hair care. The salon says it aims to offer modern, luxury services while keeping sustainability a priority, and it describes itself as the top salon for making hair goals a reality.

The salon sits just off I-4 on Fairbanks Ave, with ample parking behind the plaza. It is open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm. New color and extension clients need a consultation before booking any service, and if hair is altered between that consultation and the appointment, or more than 12 weeks pass before the appointment, pricing, timing and maintenance may change. An updated consultation may be asked for after 12 weeks. Because the studio is small, only the person being serviced may be inside during their appointment; others wait in the building lounge or in their vehicle.

The salon works with Green Circle Salons, which offsets salon emissions and recycles salon beauty waste such as hair clippings, foils, color tubes and aerosol cans. According to Green Circle Salons, up to 95% of salon beauty waste can be recovered. The shop also carries solid shampoo and conditioner bars from Sudz Cauldron, handcrafted in small batches in Florida, along with Arete Beauty professional hair care, treatments and colors.

Stylists at the salon specialize in sustainable and eco-friendly hair care. The salon also offers chair rental to stylists who want to join the team.
