About

Soak Haus began more than ten years ago with a focus on scalp health and wellness. Owner Megan created a service called Silent Mondays, where guests are not expected to make conversation, and that idea inspired the spa.

The scalp spa centers on Japanese-style scalp facials that deep cleanse the scalp to remove excess sebum and fatty acids. Each is offered in a 60 minute Silver version for $169, a 90 minute Gold version for $219 and a 120 minute Platinum version for $269. Scalp facials can be combined with LED light therapy or a follicle micro channel treatment, and the Bronze Hair Restoration pairs a 60 minute scalp facial with scalp microneedling and LED light therapy for $355. The business uses fresh water and color-safe products in its treatments.

Before a visit, guests are asked to come with hair unwashed for 24 to 48 hours, or to wash it beforehand if it has been longer. The team recommends waiting one week after any chemical service, including color, highlights, perms or relaxers. Scalp facials are not recommended for guests with hair extensions, who are asked to call for a phone consultation. Guests change into a spa robe, so comfortable clothing is suggested, and makeup removal wipes are available. Up to three guests can book scalp facials at the same time. The business does not offer blowouts and does not recommend one directly after a scalp facial.

Beyond scalp work, the spa offers Full Spectrum facials tailored to concerns such as acne-prone skin, signs of aging, hyperpigmentation and pregnancy-related changes, along with CO2 Carboxy facials, Epicutis facials, chemical peels, microneedling, LED light therapy and waxing. Memberships in three tiers are scheduled in 4 to 12 week increments and include discounts on at-home scalp care and additional services. The spa also hosts private rentals for corporate events, team retreats, birthdays, bachelorette parties and bridal showers, gift cards are available, and it sells Milbon retail products with free shipping on purchases over $60. The business says it supports local businesses, charities and schools through community outreach.

Focuses on scalp health using fresh water and color-safe products, with treatments tailored to each guest's concerns.

A calm spa setting where guests change into robes before treatment.
