Floats take place in private rooms, one person to a tank, with the water heated to skin temperature. Guests may leave a float whenever they like and can leave the door open. Each room is stocked with a towel, washcloth, earplugs, body wash, shampoo and a robe. A dry bar with a blow dryer sits across the hall from the float rooms, and the lounge offers complimentary tea or water after a float.
The Fire+Ice session pairs infrared sauna and cold plunge in one private room and can be booked by up to two people together. The sauna preheats to 150 degrees Fahrenheit by default and can be set anywhere from 120 to 175 degrees. The infrared rooms have chromotherapy color options and a Bluetooth speaker for music, podcasts or guided meditation. The cold plunge is kept at 50 degrees Fahrenheit and filtered with UV, ozone and a 5-micron system.
Compression therapy is a 30-minute session in which specialized sleeves apply sequential pressure to the legs. It can be added to a float, sauna or cold plunge visit. Private party bookings are available for groups of 4 to 8 people, and the spa also sells gift cards, retail products and offers wellness workshops.
Before a float, guests are asked to avoid shaving or waxing for at least 8 hours and to skip alcohol, caffeine and large meals for several hours. Guests should wait until the color has stopped running when rinsing dyed hair, and the business recommends waiting 14 days after dyeing before floating. Vibrant shades such as pink, red or blue may prevent floating because of a color test. Pregnant guests may float, but are directed to speak with a doctor before booking. Guests on their period are asked to wear a tampon or menstrual cup. Guests who need help getting around are asked to bring someone with them.
Sessions use water, heat, cold and compression, and compression therapy can be combined with a float, sauna or cold plunge in one visit.
