Snowology

Snowology is a medical spa located in a suite on Saundersville Road in Hendersonville, Tennessee. It draws clients from Hendersonville and nearby communities across the Nashville area, including Goodlettsville and Gallatin. The business says this focus lets its providers build experience with one treatment across every body area.

CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis, which cools targeted fat cells under the skin until they freeze. The body then clears them over time through the lymphatic system. During a session, gel pads and applicators are attached to the treatment area, and the provider massages the area once the cells have frozen. The procedure involves no incisions, surgery, anesthesia or downtime, so most people return to daily activities and work right after. The business says each session reduces up to 25% of fat cells in the treated area. Results begin to show around one month, with continued improvement over two to three months. Upper arm results are not visible right away. The business also says fat cells removed this way do not return.

Clients start with an appointment and a personalized consultation, which includes a review of medical history. Candidacy is decided at that visit. CoolSculpting is not a weight-loss procedure, so candidates should be within 30 pounds of their goal weight. It treats only the fat under the skin and does not remove deeper fat or address excess skin. Cost depends on the areas treated, the number of sessions needed and the client's goals, and the office provides a personalized quote. Appointments and virtual consultation requests can be made through the Book Now option on the website, and the office contacts requesters to talk through options.

The treatment is FDA-approved for fat reduction in nine body areas, according to the business. Its listed areas include the abdomen, banana roll below the buttocks, bra and back fat, face and neck, flanks, legs, male chest and upper arms. The business says it has performed thousands of CoolSculpting treatments and describes itself as a leading practice in the US for non-surgical fat reduction. These are the practice's own claims.

Snowology concentrates on CoolSculpting alone so its providers gain experience with the treatment. Each plan is personalized after a consultation.
