Snip Salon & Gallery

Snip Salon & Gallery combines a hair salon with an art gallery in a single room in North Scottsdale. The salon side covers custom haircuts and styling, hair color, and men's cuts, including scissor cuts and clipper fades.

For women, the menu includes long layers, classic bobs, curly cuts and pixie cuts, with stylists working with each client to decide whether the result should lean dressed-up or relaxed. The salon states it has experienced hairstylists on staff.

The gallery shows art of many kinds by local artists from around the Phoenix Valley. Much of the work is one-of-a-kind and available for purchase. Some of the featured artists hold day jobs and make their art on the side, including painting and sculpture.

Appointments can be booked online or by calling 480.534.5664. The salon is open Tuesday through Thursday 9 am to 6 pm, Friday and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, and closed Sunday and Monday.

Stylists work with each client to shape a look that suits the occasion, from dressed-up to dressed-down.
