Visits are by appointment only, and each appointment is set up around a single client. First-time visitors book a consultation before booking a service. Hair should be clean for consultations, but no pre-wash is needed for services because shampoo and conditioning are included. Children are welcome if they can sit and be serviced with minimal redirection. The space is quaint and designed for relaxation. The salon is open Tuesday through Friday and closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The menu is broad. The Rooted Collection covers loc starts, maintenance and corrective care, with add-on styling options. Crochet curls, braids and faux locs are offered alongside cornrows, feed-in braids, twist sets and natural rod sets. The Crowned Collection serves loose natural hair with silk presses, crown refreshes and quarterly renewal options. The Rested Roots and Crown Head Spa experience adds a scalp-focused session.
