Joselin is a licensed esthetician, and the studio describes its experience as comfortable, professional and safe. According to the studio, clients often find it comfortable and judgment-free. Clients who want to understand the process and their options are welcomed, and Joselin gives insight into each client's concerns and questions before recommending products. Aftercare education is part of the visit, including guidance on ingrown hairs, irritation and sensitivity.
Three prepaid Brazilian wax packages are offered. The four-session package saves $30, the six-session package saves $45, and the twelve-session package saves $120. Package holders get 15% off aftercare purchases on the smaller two packages and 20% off on the twelve-session package, plus a choice of a free upper lip, inner thigh or stomach strip add-on on the six- and twelve-session packages.
Clients book through an online scheduling page and are asked to read the studio's policies first. Appointments changed within 24 hours forfeit the deposit, and a no-call, no-show is charged 50% of the service. Clients with a declined or unpaid card on file cannot book future appointments. Appointments have a 5-minute grace period, children are not permitted at appointments, and all sales are final. Clients unhappy with results can notify the studio within 72 hours, and a complimentary touch-up may be offered. Hair should be about 1/4 inch long before a Brazilian wax, and shaving is not recommended. Waxing every 4 to 6 weeks is suggested for the best results. Hours are Wednesday 5:45pm to 8:00pm, Thursday 5:45pm to 7:30pm, Saturday 10:15am to 1:30pm and Sunday 9:30am to 2:15pm.
