The business describes itself as focused on brow, Brazilian and full-body waxing in Baltimore City, which is its own claim. The Brazilian options are spelled out clearly: the standard Brazilian clears the bikini top and sides, including the treasure trail, through to the back. A full bush Brazilian keeps a large triangle on top, while a French bikini clears the sides and a little of the top and back and leaves hair on the labia.
Epilfree is a regular wax paired with a serum and toner, which the business says helps promote hair reduction. Bryght is a skin care system the business describes as natural, vegan and FDA-approved, aimed at hyperpigmentation, dark spots and uneven skin tone, and a Bryght Duo Kit is offered for at-home maintenance between visits. New clients need a consultation before booking either service.
During a visit, staff keep the conversation going so clients stay relaxed, and the team aims to keep people informed about what is happening. Hair should be at least a quarter inch long, and clients should avoid shaving for at least three weeks beforehand; waxing every four to six weeks is the recommended rhythm. Guests wait in the waiting area rather than the waxing room, and children may only come along if they are having a service. Clients who are menstruating may be waxed, with a tampon required and available if needed. Pregnant clients can be waxed, and the business suggests checking with a healthcare provider first.
Appointments can be booked, changed or cancelled online through Vagaro, by text when the studio is closed, or by email, with 24 hours' notice needed for changes. A 50% deposit is taken at booking and applied to the total. Deposits are non-refundable for changes made less than 24 hours ahead, while 24 or more hours' notice allows a refund or a credit toward a future visit. Arriving too late to be seen counts as a last-minute cancellation, and there is no grace period. The studio is open Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 7pm, Wednesday 3pm to 7pm, Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm, and is closed Sunday and Monday. It sits three blocks south of Penn Station on Charles Street, about three blocks east of the Cultural Center light rail stop, with street meters on Chase, Biddle and Charles Streets and paid lots and garages nearby.
The studio combines strip wax with hard wax, using hard wax for bikini work because it grips the hair rather than the skin. It says it keeps up with new waxes through trade shows and continuing education.
