Smack Hair

Smack Hair works mainly with brides and their wedding parties from a suite inside Phenix Salon Suites at 2955 Cobb Parkway in Atlanta. Founder Sharonda Mack leads the business as its bridal specialist, and the studio also serves everyday clients.

Bridal trials are held before the wedding day, so a look can be tested, checked for how well it holds up, and adjusted. Clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair and to skip heavy oils or products before styling. They may bring inspiration photos, their veil or hair accessories, and a top with a neckline similar to their dress.

Bridal styling sessions usually run 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the look, and updos and soft waves are among the options. Hair extensions can add volume and length; clients who want them included should mention it in advance. Wedding styling can be done on site, and travel fees may apply depending on the location.

Bridal party styling runs about 45 to 60 minutes per person, and additional service fees and deposits apply per person. Additional bridal party services must be scheduled at least 60 days ahead. The business recommends booking bridal hair at least three to six months in advance, and a deposit made through the Bridal Inquiry Form secures a date.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, with weekends by appointment only.
