Before booking, clients confirm they are 18 or older. They also confirm they have not taken antibiotics, iron supplements or Retin-A in the past 14 days, have had no sun or tanning bed exposure in the last 4 weeks, and have not taken Accutane or immunosuppressants in the past 6 months. Laser hair removal targets pigment in the hair follicles with concentrated light energy. Most clients need about 8 to 10 sessions spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart, depending on hair color, skin type and area. Most describe the sensation as a mild snap that fades quickly, and temporary redness or swelling may appear and usually settles within a few hours. Between sessions clients may shave but should avoid waxing, plucking or other methods that pull hair from the root. Post-treatment care instructions are provided.
Hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A 15-minute session is listed at $90 and a 45-minute session at $275.
