Slightly Off Center Salon operates out of the owner's home in Grayslake. The salon was moved into the home during the COVID-19 pandemic, and clients visit by appointment only, receiving the address once they have booked.
Haircuts include an optional blowdry add-on. Color options run from all-over color and retouches to partial and full foil, and color correction is priced per application. Permanents are offered for curly or bodywave styles on short hair and on hair longer than shoulder length. Waxing is available for brows, lip and chin. Hair services are tailored to each client's needs. Listed prices include a men's and women's haircut at $31, a style at $28, formal hair from $60 and a full foil at $90.
The home is smoke-free and pet-free. Hours are Sunday noon to 4 PM, Monday and Thursday 2 to 7 PM, and Tuesday and Friday 9 AM to 2 PM. Bookings can be made by phone at (847) 962-0348 or by email at slightlyoffcenterltd@gmail.com.
