Sarah Jay started her career in 2019 by assisting in a salon and opened her own private suite in 2023. The studio is Suite 7 inside Sola Salons. Parking is in the garage connected to Nordstrom on the third floor, and guests cross the crosswalk to reach the salon.

About

The studio puts healthy hair first. The aim is for each guest to leave loving their hair and knowing how to care for it at home. Sarah works with every hair texture, with a particular focus on curly hair, and fits services to a guest's lifestyle, hair goals and texture. Treatments or service changes may be suggested when needed for the best and safest result. A free new guest consultation of about 20 minutes or more is offered, and a consultation is required before custom vivid color or color correction.

The menu covers color, including glosses, root touch-ups, partial and full highlights, freehand balayage and color correction. Haircuts are offered for women, men and children, along with specialized curly cuts, beard trims and bang trims. Keratin treatments, silk presses, blowouts, scalp and hair treatments, eyebrow tinting, and eyebrow and lip waxing round out the services. Children are welcome, including for first haircuts, and young guests should be mentioned when booking if they may need extra time.

Hours are Wednesday and Thursday 10 AM to 6 PM, Friday 10:30 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday 11 AM to 4 PM, with the studio closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours notice, and changes made later may incur a 50% fee. No-call, no-shows may be charged the full service price and may need a deposit for future bookings. Guests arriving 15 or more minutes late may need to rebook. In-person Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000 with approval needed before the appointment.
