Slashed by Claudia describes its brand as built on creativity, individuality and a love of horror. The space has a dark, gothic feel, and the lash work leans toward bold, dramatic looks rather than subtle everyday sets.
The menu is split into brows and lashes. The lash side includes classic black sets in three named styles, a fully customized set that can be built around color, bottom lashes, stencils and glitter, a lash lift that gives natural lashes a lasting curl, and a removal service that takes off a set while leaving natural lashes untouched.
Visits are by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice. Appointments after 5 PM carry a $25 after-hours fee, and the studio is not kid friendly. Refills are recommended every two to three weeks; fills beyond three weeks are charged as extended fills, and beyond four weeks a full set is required. A previous set can be reawakened if at least 40 percent of the lashes remain on each eye. Refills can't be done over another artist's work without a removal first, which must be booked as The Lash Purge.
Gift certificates range from $10 to $1,000, have no expiration, and can be emailed, texted or scheduled for later delivery. Loyal Ghouls, the loyalty program, gives members 10 Crypt credits each visit. Free parking is available in the lot, and the studio is wheelchair accessible.
