Skyler Paige Skincare is an independent esthetics practice in Chicago, founded by its owner, Skyler Paige. The studio is at 3445 N Lincoln Ave. Because one esthetician performs all treatments, groups of up to four can book, with an extra esthetician brought in so everyone can be treated at once.

Every visit starts with a consultation form, which can be emailed ahead or filled out on paper at the studio. New clients can book a New Client Custom Facial, which includes a consultation and skin analysis, at an introductory price of $119, compared with $129 for returning visits. Clients who are not sure which service they want can still book. Robes and wraps are provided in sizes Small to 4XL, and clients may bring their own. Additional hours are available by request, and appointments outside regular hours can be requested by email. Limited in-home services are offered for an added cost.

The menu runs from custom facials and brow and lash work to peels and body treatments. Corrective and clinical peels range from a Level 2 Light-Moderate Chemical Peel at $149 to the Lira Clinical Pure Peel at $229, which requires Lira Clinical home care before and after the treatment. Level 3 treatments need at least two weeks of Lira home care beforehand. Advanced treatments are not offered at first visits. Pricing is the same for all clients regardless of gender.

The studio welcomes all bodies, genders and needs, and says it avoids intimidation and unattainable standards. It aims to be a safe and comfortable space for people of all genders, including trans and non-binary clients. The salon describes itself as fat-positive. It is not a chain spa and does not offer cream and steam facials. The studio is on the first floor with no stairs or steps, and its entrance and internal doors are ADA compliant. There is no wheelchair-accessible restroom on site, and the equipment can accommodate up to 550 pounds.

Treatments are customized to each client's skin using clinically proven professional products and tools. The studio does not recommend products or services a client does not need.
