SKN BAR Rx is her most recent business. It opened its Shorewood and Pewaukee locations in May 2020 with the aim of putting medical skin treatments in the hands of qualified professionals.

The team includes doctors, nurses and aesthetic specialists. Cosmetic nurses perform injectable treatments, and the business says its licensed staff guide each customized plan. The philosophy is to combine medical knowledge with aesthetic work, to explain skin care practices to each client, and to settle treatment decisions together with them. Skin care consultations are given by licensed aestheticians.

A new patient receives a complimentary consultation to review skin concerns and conditions. Consultations can be booked online, and there are separate consultations for skin care, laser facials, and weddings or special events. The business suggests general skin treatments every two to four weeks, more in-depth treatments every four to six weeks, and injectables every three to four months. Both locations are open Monday 9am to 4pm, Tuesday through Thursday 9am to 8pm, and Friday and Saturday 9am to 4pm, and are closed Sunday. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice carry a $100 cancellation fee.

The menu covers facials from $150, including the SKN BAR Signature Facial, a Skinbetter facial, a ZO facial and a hydrodermabrasion facial that uses a diamond-tipped wand. HydraFacial options run from the Signature at $199 to the Platinum at $350, which begins with lymphatic drainage and ends with LED light therapy. Chemical peels include Ultraceuticals, SkinMedica, ZO and liquid laser options, plus a customized peel and a retinol enzyme peel. Laser treatments include the HALO hybrid fractional laser for skin resurfacing, which requires a consultation first, BBL HEROIC broadband light treatments, Clear + Brilliant laser treatments, and SkinTyte for firming. Botox and Dysport are each priced at $12 per unit. Monthly memberships covering facials through laser treatments are available, and an app handles booking and tracking skin care progress.

Products carried or used include Ultraceuticals, Skinbetter Science, SkinMedica, ZO Skin Health, ColorScience and Plated. Recovery products for most treatments are sold in store, and microneedling includes a complimentary recovery kit.
