SKINXFORMA is a skin and beauty studio in Saint Louis, also presented as SKINXFORMA by skinxkel. The brand name FORMA is meant to reflect the relationship between form, structure and aesthetic. The studio is owned by Kelly, a licensed esthetician who has worked in the field since 2021.

About

Skin care is the studio's main focus. Its Acne Program opens with a one-hour consultation, after which the studio creates a personalized treatment and home-care plan. Home products the plan recommends are bought separately. Monthly in-studio sessions run about an hour and fifteen minutes and, depending on the individual's skin, can involve a chemical peel, extractions, LED light therapy, or plasma skin treatment. Between appointments, Acne Program clients receive check-ins every two weeks.

Other skin options include the Aura365 multi-acid peel, a 45-minute customized treatment combining TCA, salicylic acid, phytic acid, tranexamic acid and glutathione, suited to acne and congestion, hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, rough texture and dullness. Redness, sensitivity, dryness and peeling can occur as the skin renews. The No Downtime Peel is a 30-minute treatment whose strength and formula are chosen for each client. A dermaplane, oxygen mask and LED session is described as glow boosting and suited to dullness, rough texture and peach fuzz. Microneedling is offered for the face or the face, neck and chest, and the studio describes it as supporting the skin's own healing process to help with acne scars and neck lines, without chemicals, heat or injections. Numbing cream is applied first, mild redness is common for a day or two, and a series of four to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance.

Visits start with a 45-minute consultation for $50 where skin, concerns and goals are discussed and a plan is created. Clients are asked to bring a photo of the products they currently use. The fee is waived if a recommended product or package is purchased afterward. Beyond skin care, the studio offers lash lifts with or without tint, several brow lamination combinations, brow shaping and tinting, any-occasion and bridal makeup, and waxing of the chin, lip and underarm. Multi-session peel and microneedling packages are priced as bundles. The studio is open Tuesday from 3 to 8 pm, Thursday from 11 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm, and bookings are made through the website.

Bridal work follows its own process. Inquiries go through the bridal form with the wedding date, location and party size. A $75 nonrefundable retainer reserves a date once availability is confirmed, and it is applied toward the travel fee. A bridal trial does not hold a date on its own. Invoices must be paid in full at least one week before the wedding, and large parties may need additional artists for an added fee, subject to availability.
