Skintuition

Kate Ursin founded Skintuition as her own studio and works there as owner and esthetician. She has been a licensed esthetician for over 17 years and has built long-term relationships with her clients.

Treatments are tailored to each client's skin condition and skin type. Facials come in a 55-minute session starting at $125 and a 30-minute session starting at $90. The studio's treatments are aimed at acne, pigmentation, inflammation and overall skin integrity.

Peels are offered only after a skin consultation and come with curated home care and skin preparation. Aftercare instructions are discussed after each treatment.

Booking is by appointment only, Monday to Friday, by calling or texting 858.405.6193. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice. Before an appointment, clients are asked to avoid direct or prolonged sun for at least 48 hours and to skip exfoliating, especially with retinoids, for 5 days. Dermal fillers and Botox should be kept at least 72 hours away from a facial.
