Skinnovate is a laser-focused skin studio at 1291 131st Ct NE in Bellevue. Its main category is laser services, and the studio uses the Cynosure Icon, an IPL device that the studio states is suitable for all skin tones and types, including sensitive skin.

The studio was started in 2012 by owner Shelly Arensberg, who had worked as an esthetician for more than ten years before opening it. Her background includes medical esthetics, with medical grade facials, clinical extractions, chemical peels and skin laser treatments.

Laser hair removal can be booked for the face, underarms, bikini, legs, and the back and shoulders for men, and the studio says it can be used from head to toe except male genital areas. Clients are asked to shave beforehand and to avoid recent sun exposure or self-tanner. The studio notes the treatment is noninvasive and works best on brown hair, and it usually takes several sessions about 6 to 12 weeks apart depending on the area.

Photo rejuvenation, also called a photofacial, targets redness, flushing, hyperpigmentation, sun spots, broken capillaries, fine lines and overall skin damage. It usually takes a series of two to three sessions of 30 to 60 minutes each, with no major downtime. Pigment reduction is also offered.

Consultations are free and can be done by phone or in person. Pricing is not published online, so clients get prices by calling or texting. Gift certificates are available. Appointments can be changed or cancelled with 24 hours' notice; cancelling or rescheduling on the day of an appointment means the full service amount is charged. Hours are Monday to Thursday 12pm to 7pm, Friday 12pm to 6pm, Saturday 1pm to 6pm, and Sunday by request, with other times possible on request.
