SkinLush is a boutique holistic skin studio at 4286 Voltaire Street in San Diego. Elisha, the owner and holistic skin therapist, works with clients who are starting a skin care routine as well as those refining one they already have. Elisha, the owner and holistic skin therapist, works with clients who are starting a skin care routine as well as those refining one they already have. Each treatment is customized, with the skin, nervous system and whole body considered together.
The menu is grouped into Skincare Rituals, which run from a 45-minute Reset Facial to a 105-minute Holistic Luxe Ritual; Advanced Treatments, including MicroChanneling, MicroCurrent and The Perfect Derma Peel; Enhancements and Add-Ons, such as LED light therapy, microdermabrasion, peels, oxygen boost and infusions; Memberships; and Skin Wellness Coaching. The coaching is offered in person as a 90-minute consultation with a customized 45-minute facial, or virtually as a 30-minute session with a customized home treatment. Both include skin analysis, skin mapping, a diet and lifestyle review and product recommendations.
The studio carries an online shop with Osmosis Beauty, which was founded by Dr. Ben Johnson, iS Clinical products, and at-home devices including the NeurotriS PICO Toner, an Omnilux Contour Face LED device and Myolift microcurrent tools.
Some services carry specific guidance. MicroCurrent is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with medical implants such as a pacemaker or ocular implant, and clients with heart disease, seizures, diabetes or cancer are asked to get a doctor's approval first. Cancellations or rescheduling made 24 hours before an appointment avoid a 50% charge of the service total. Filmed Studio Sessions at a reduced rate are limited to one per client every six months unless otherwise invited.
