SkinKarah opened in late 2025 and is run by Karah, a licensed esthetician who does the work herself. The studio is small, so each client is looked after one-on-one by the same person at every visit. Clients come from Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Murray, Sandy, Draper and Millcreek.

Facials begin with a conversation about skin concerns and goals, and the plan is built around skin type, concerns and the season, including adjustments for Utah's dry air and hard water. Add-ons include extractions, peels, dermaplaning and microcurrent. A custom facial starts at $65 and usually takes 45 to 75 minutes.

Lash extension removal uses a solvent-based process instead of pulling the extensions off, and takes about 30 minutes. Pricing runs from $25 to $55 depending on how many extensions there are and how they were applied. Lash tint darkens natural lashes with a gentle dye made for the eye area, takes about 20 minutes and typically holds 4 to 6 weeks. Contact lenses are removed first, and first-time tint clients are offered a patch test. A lash lift curls natural lashes without extensions, takes about 45 minutes and is priced from $65 to $120 depending on whether a tint is added and how much prep the lashes need. A tint can be paired with a lift in one visit.

All waxing uses hard wax with clean tools and fresh wax for each service, and a quick skin check comes before every appointment. Hydrating aftercare follows each wax. Upper lip waxing takes about 15 minutes and ends with a calming product; a patch test is done on first-time clients, and results usually last three to four weeks. A standard bikini wax clears hair outside the swimsuit line in 20 to 30 minutes, and bikini waxing takes place in a private room. A Brazilian wax removes all hair from front to back, averages about 30 minutes and starts at $45. Eyebrow waxing is also offered, though no price is listed for it. For a big event, the studio suggests booking two to three days ahead and letting hair grow to some length first.

Pricing is quoted before any service begins, with no added fees at checkout, and clients approve any add-ons before they are applied. First-time clients get 20% off their first visit. Loyal clients receive 30% off their sixth wax or lash service. Any service over $50 includes a complimentary mini facial. Clients can text to ask about last-minute openings, and the studio tries to fit them in when it can.
