Skincara is a waxing studio in Franklin, Tennessee, owned by licensed esthetician Cara Allen. The studio aims to feel like visiting a friend, and Cara places as much weight on a client's trust in the waxer and her comfort without judgment as on the hair removal itself.
Services are grouped around the face, the body and the bikini area. Face options include single waxes for the lip, chin, nose, ears and sideburns, eyebrow waxing, and a full face or full face and eyebrow service. Eyebrow waxing can also be paired with a tint or a lamination treatment. Body waxing covers underarms, stomach, arms, legs, back, chest and shoulders, and several areas can be combined into a Body Special, with or without a Luxury Brazilian. Bikini options range from a classic bikini and a heavy bikini to a Brazilian that can include the cheeks, with a Luxury Brazilian adding a high frequency treatment and a hydrojelly mask.
Each service includes a post-wax oil application where the listing notes one, and the bikini and Brazilian services spell out exactly which areas are covered, so clients know what to expect before booking. Hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with set opening times, a shorter Wednesday, and the studio is closed Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays. A 50% cancellation fee applies, and clients who cannot make an appointment are asked to contact the studio as soon as possible to reschedule. Gift cards are sold in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or for a custom value, and can be sent right away or on a chosen delivery date. Gift card sales are final.
Aims to make each visit feel like time with a friend, with trust and comfort valued as much as the waxing itself.
The studio aims for a warm, friendly feel that resembles visiting a friend.
