Skin & Soul is a Fountain Valley skincare studio that books by appointment. Its listed service groups are an Acne Program, Corrective Treatments, Custom Facials and Energy Healing.

Facials are built around the client's skin. Each one includes extractions and is finished with customized serums, moisturizer, SPF and a lip treatment chosen for the skin concern at hand.

Before a visit, clients complete required intake forms. Clients who use retinol or retinoids are asked to stop at least 7 days ahead of the appointment, and to avoid exfoliating products containing salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid or other AHA or BHA ingredients for 2 to 3 days beforehand.

Timing rules apply after some cosmetic work. Clients should wait 2 weeks after permanent makeup, dermal fillers or Botox before a facial. A facial can be done up to 1 week before a permanent makeup appointment.

Booking runs up to 60 days ahead. A $50 non-refundable deposit reserves the appointment and goes toward the total. The balance can be paid by Venmo, Zelle or cash, and card payments carry a 3% processing fee.

Rescheduling needs at least 48 hours' notice. Changes made inside that window forfeit the deposit and require a new booking fee. A deposit can be moved up to two times, after which a new deposit is required. There is a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals, and no-shows are charged 50% of the scheduled service total.

Gift certificates are available, and their balances can be checked on the website.
