About

Skin Memory Spa offers holistic facial treatments from a second-floor suite in a business condo complex at 10520 Warwick Avenue, Fairfax, Virginia. There is no elevator, so visitors use the stairs. Free parking is available on site. According to the spa, it ranks among the highly rated skincare specialty salons in the Washington, DC area.

The spa's stated mission is personalized treatments that support lasting skin health in a calm setting, and it says it puts individual needs ahead of sales-driven recommendations. Its method is non-invasive and aims to restore and rebalance the skin. Services are meant to support both skin and wellness, including stress relief, and treatments are chosen to support the skin's natural function.

A visit usually starts with a review of skin concerns, home care and goals. Facials are fully customized from a range of options, so clients do not need to choose one in advance, and most treatments need little to no downtime. Clients are typically advised to book a facial every four to six weeks, and facial menus change with the seasons.

Signature offerings include Korean facials focused on glow, the Hollywood Facial (The iDerm), a Salmon PDRN Facial, PLLA facials, nano needling and a range of peels. Pain relief facials address headaches, migraines and tension in the neck and shoulders. Body treatments range from deep tissue work to hot stone, Reiki and meditative sessions.

Services are by appointment only, and a credit card is required to hold a booking. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice; cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service fee, and no-shows are charged the full fee. Clients up to 15 minutes late are accommodated, though the appointment may be shortened, and later arrivals count as no-shows. Text is the preferred way to reach the spa, since staff do not answer calls during treatments. Minors under 18 may be treated with a signed parent or guardian consent form, but children are not permitted in treatment rooms.

Treatments are built around the skin's natural function and aim to restore and rebalance it without invasive methods. The spa says pain is not a measure of results and that skin does not need to be punished to get healthier.

The spa describes its setting as a peaceful space for slowing down and feeling cared for.
