Skin! Medical Aesthetics was founded by Dr. Shyanie J. Kumar, MD, who wanted a physician-led practice that explains each treatment and builds a sequenced plan.

The practice sits on North Downing Street, with free street parking outside the door, and serves clients from Denver neighborhoods such as Cherry Creek, Wash Park, the Highlands and Central Park, as well as Aurora, Glendale, Lakewood and Englewood. It works with one client at a time in a small studio rather than a clinic floor. Plans are built around Denver's altitude and seasons, and the practice says its protocols are not copied from coastal practices. A visit can start with a free in-person consult or a free virtual consult. Inquiries sent through the website are not bookings; the team replies first, usually within one business day. Neurotoxin and filler are priced per unit or per syringe, and a written quote is given at the consult.

Microneedling is offered with SkinPen and Sylfirm-X RF. Chemical peels include VI Peel, DermPerfexion (PRX-T33), AHA/BHA and TCA peels. Injectables cover neurotoxin with Xeomin, Dysport and Daxxify, along with dermal fillers and biostimulators such as Sculptra, Radiesse and EZ Gel. Hair regeneration uses microneedling with an injection of growth factors derived from the client's blood. Memberships are available. Gift cards are available for purchase.
