Skin Deep Wellness was founded by licensed esthetician Shakira Davis and sits on West Lincoln Highway in Coatesville. The spa combines clinical skin care with holistic wellness, and it describes its aim as working on root causes and treating the whole person. It also addresses stress and lifestyle factors linked to breakouts.
Facials are the core of the menu. Signature facials are adjusted to each client's skin at every visit, and treatments are not scripted, since the specialist assesses the skin at each appointment. Advanced and corrective options include enzyme treatments, peels, dermaplaning and corrective protocols, and a consultation is recommended before them.
Acne Boot Camp is a structured program that starts with a consultation and continues with a customized home care plan and ongoing treatment sessions. It covers the face, chest and back, and can be done in studio or virtually. A consultation is required before enrolling. The spa does not guarantee specific skin results, since outcomes depend on individual factors and home care.
Holistic & Healing sessions blend facial care with Reiki, ritual elements, aromatherapy and grounding techniques. Intuitive Guidance offers tarot and oracle sessions for reflection and self-awareness; these are not predictive or medical. Counseling sessions offer non-clinical support for stress, life transitions, boundaries and personal growth. They are not crisis or emergency care and do not replace psychotherapy or psychiatric treatment.
The spa also offers microcurrent, a series of treatments using low-level current to stimulate facial muscles, and non-invasive body contouring done as a series with cosmetic rather than medical weight loss aims. Waxing and threading, and a men's menu, round out the services. Memberships require a minimum commitment and are non-refundable. Booking runs through the Blvd platform, which also handles packages and gift cards. Appointments need a valid card on file, and cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice.
Treatments are built around each client's skin at the time of the visit, and the spa pairs clinical acne care with holistic wellness.
