Skin By Shelby is a one-person esthetics practice on the second floor of My Salon Suites in the Winter Springs Town Center. Shelby Shamshak opened the business in 2021, after becoming a licensed esthetician in 2017.

Recommendations are built around the individual's skin, and the practice will suggest simpler or delayed treatments when that makes more sense. Each treatment is adjusted to the client's skin, goals and needs on the day, and results vary from person to person.

The treatment menu centers on corrective skincare, with named options including microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning and plasma fibroblast treatment. Alongside in-clinic work, the practice plans homecare routines so that what happens between appointments supports the treatment plan. Relaxation is built into treatments as well.

The business also runs an online shop for professional skincare, tools and accessories, including a Korean skincare selection and an online ingredient checker. Orders are usually processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Shipping is a flat $7, with free shipping on orders of $250 or more. Orders can also be picked up locally Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM.

Booking policies: a card on file is required to reserve appointments, and it is not charged until after the service unless a fee applies. Cancelling or rescheduling with at least 48 hours' notice has no fee. Cancelling or rescheduling 24 to 48 hours ahead costs 50% of the service total. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice or not showing up costs 100% of the service total. Arriving 10 or more minutes late may mean the service is shortened or rebooked. Product sales are final, and returns and exchanges are not accepted except where the law requires them. Damaged orders must be reported by email within 72 hours of delivery, with the order number and photos.

Care starts with a consultation to learn about the client's skin, concerns and goals, followed by a personalized plan. Corrective treatments are combined with consistent homecare and a relaxed treatment experience, and simpler or delayed options are offered when they suit the skin better.
