The studio sits on Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur and works on both how clients' skin looks and how healthy it is. Sandra Ballantine has practiced skin care in downtown Larkspur for more than 25 years, and Kelly Kennedy joined her practice in 2012.

With a single treatment room, every session is private. Facials usually move through makeup removal, cleansing, exfoliation, steaming, extractions, facial massage, a treatment mask, a serum or moisturizer, and sunblock. Facials are commonly booked about every four weeks, adjusted to each client's needs.

Beyond facials, the menu includes microdermabrasion, which uses a machine to resurface the outer layer of skin and may help with texture and fine lines, along with Dermatude Meta Therapy and ultrasound treatments. Waxing comes in soft and hard wax, with hard wax used for bikini, underarm and facial areas.

Pricing is provided on inquiry. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice; later cancellations are charged the full appointment amount, payable before the next scheduled visit. Missed appointments without notice are also charged, and a late arrival may shorten the session while the full session is still billed. The studio is a member of Associated Skin Care Professionals and is closed on Sundays.
