Sink Into Chic

Emily Sink founded Sink Into Chic as her own business and brand. She trained at Rudae's School of Beauty Culture in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and after school moved to Indianapolis. She spent five years at Great Clips before working at higher-end salons, and the business now takes her hair services to clients.

Appointments take place at the client's chosen location, and she arrives with her own tools, products and capes. Clients are asked to provide a sturdy chair and a well-lit space, and gloss services need access to a sink. Children and pets are welcome if they are safe, and anyone feeling unwell, or with someone in the household who is, is asked to reschedule. Hours are 10:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends.

Payment can be made by cash, card, Venmo or AfterPay, which splits the total into four payments. The full service amount is charged at booking, and any travel fee is paid once the service is finished. Reschedules or cancellations 24 hours or more ahead receive a full refund; later cancellations are refunded half, with a half-price late fee, and no-shows are charged the full price. Tips are appreciated but not expected.
