Each session begins with a holistic evaluation of the body and face, which is included at no charge and ends with suggestions for keeping energy flowing smoothly. Treatments take place in a private treatment room. Appointments can be requested by phone, text, or the online booking form, though online requests are not confirmed until the office calls back. Acupuncture requests are taken Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and skin care and esthetics requests Friday through Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Acupuncture is the core of the practice and is used for pain management (sciatica, back, neck, shoulder, elbow and knee pain, and osteoarthritis), stress and energy balance, quitting smoking, reducing alcohol cravings, digestive complaints such as IBS, IBD and constipation, allergic skin conditions such as eczema and hives, women's health and fertility concerns, and dermatologic disorders. Techniques include electroacupuncture, ear acupuncture, cupping, guasha and moxibustion.
Skin care is delivered by a nurse-esthetician and includes cosmetic acupuncture and skin rejuvenation. The practice also offers Tui Na, a needle-free form of bodywork, along with hot stone therapy, a special package for fatigue and emotional disorders, therapeutic meditation sessions, and coaching.
Some health insurance plans may be accepted as out-of-network. Clients can check their coverage for acupuncture through the online verification form on the services page. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and clients are asked to bring their booking confirmation email on their phone.
The practice tailors therapy to each client's needs and concerns, with an emphasis on trust and individualized care.
Each treatment takes place in an individual room.
